AEE participated in the expert seminar on energy efficiency in buildings

27 April 2016, Association of energy efficiency and energy saving participated in the Expert Seminar on “Development and minimum requirements for energy efficiency of buildings in accordance with the EU Directive 31/2010″, organized as part of the EBRD project: Energy Efficiency in the residential sector in Ukraine – political dialogue with project consultants «E7 Energy Market analysis” and Research Institute of building structures. The following issues have been presented and discussed during the event: the latest developments regarding minimum requirements for energy efficiency of buildings and legislative implementation of minimum requirements, current state of new building standard project, software tool calculating energy performance certification of buildings. Participants were informed that currently the Institute of building structures made revision of current building standards (DBN, thermal insulation of buildings, В.2.6-31:201Х), which now includes several requirements related to energy efficiency. A hard copy of the standard will be available soon. Besides, a software determining energy characteristics of buildings is developed in accordance with EU Directive 31/2010.
