Training\u00a0 took places in Chernivtsi, Lviv, Poltava and Dnipropetrovsk cities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This program is implemented in the framework of the project\u00a0 &#8220;Energy efficiency and energy management in united local communities (ULC)&#8221; implemented by\u00a0the Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Government jointly with \u201cU-Lead with Europe\u201d for empowerment of rights and possibilities on the local level, accountability and development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As a result, 50 professional trainers from public authorities were prepared. In the future they could provide consulting services in the fields of energy management and energy audit, monitoring systems, development of local EE&amp;RES policies (SEAPs) and their introduction for amalgamated hromadas and municipalities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Among the studding\u00a0subjects \u00a0were:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">organization of energy management system in the united territorial communities;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">energy monitoring and benchmarking as energy management tools;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">technical aspects of thermo-modernization of\u00a0public buildings;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Covenant of Mayors. Development of the Action Plan on Sustainable Energy Development and Climate (SEAPs);<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Identification of financing sources for energy saving measures;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">ensuring effective\u00a0 buildings and equipment operation (facility management);<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">conducting energy audits and preparing feasibility studies;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">SEAP as a tool for improving energy efficiency of residential buildings;<\/li>\n<li>public speaking;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">energy efficiency&amp;RES\u00a0 legislation;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">best international practices for the successful development of municipalities \u00a0in Ukraine;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">improving presentation skills and work with the audience and others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After ten days of successful completion of the training, the participants have \u00a0received certificates of the coach on energy efficiency and energy saving.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Association on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving in the framework of the project Project &#8220;Improving capacities of the hromadas to implement energy management and advise on energy efficiency&#8221; completed a series of ten-day trainings on energy efficiency and energy\u00a0management for the participants from Eastern and Western regions.
